Microblading is a form of cosmetic tattooing that uses a small handheld tool with tiny needles to place pigment into the skin in fine, hair-like strokes. It adds density, defines shape, and creates that fluffy, natural “little hairs” look. It’s typically a two-step process and often includes a Refining Session 6–8 weeks after the first appointment.
Many clients love waking up with brows that look done. It shortens your morning routine, helps if doing your own makeup feels intimidating, and creates a polished “base” you can leave as-is or glam up when you want. Because it’s semi-permanent, you can refresh, refine, or evolve your shape and color over time.
Gently and gradually. As pigment softens, we can tweak shape, color, and definition at touch-ups. Think of it as a flexible approach to long-term brow shape — not a forever body tattoo. Whew!
Most clients feel mild pressure or a light pinch. I use a high-quality topical anesthetic before we begin (20 minutes) and a second numbing solution after the first pass. Post-appointment, the area may feel like a minor sunburn for a day.
Typically 12–18 months. Longevity depends on skin type, sun exposure, pigment choice, and skincare (chemical peels, retinoids, etc.). Microshading/Powder can last 2–3 years.
Darker and more defined for 3–4 days — totally normal. As tiny scabs form and flake, the brows may look lighter or “milky.” By weeks 3–4, the true color settles in.

They feel like tiny pinches (many describe it like popping a pimple). With proper care, faux freckles typically last 12–18 months. Cosmetic tattoo pigments are designed to gently fade, keeping tones true-to-color as they soften.
A bit raised and deeper in color for the first hours/days. As they heal, they soften to a very natural finish within 6–8 weeks.
$100 with a $50 touch-up (typically at 6–8 weeks if needed).
Freckles naturally kiss the high points (nose, cheeks, forehead), but a few scattered on the chin, upper lip, and temples make them feel delightfully real. We’ll customize density and placement to your face and vibe.
